The box in which my Photon + was supplied lists service numbers for various states in India including Karnataka and Kerala, so I would think you can get coverage there. If you want to contact Tata, the telephone number given for Karnataka is 9243000121 and for Kerala it is 9249000121.

Thanks for the comment, Nick. I'm glad the blog has got your mind ticking :-)

I like to travel light and before we left, my mind was racing with dread at the thought of lugging a computer around. It's not just the computer and the camera, of course. There are the chargers and the adaptors. In fact things went smoothly and my worries were just that - worries!

Wow this sounds like great stuff. I have often dreamt of travelling around somewhere with camera and laptop. Doing some blogging along the way to a captive audience. The great thing is, I could quite easily do just that and during the course of the next couple of years we shall.

Thanks for sharing the "making of" the big trip. It has got my mind ticking.
