Holiday Ecards
First, a reminder that we will be putting our collection of holiday ecards online next week – the week beginning November 23rd.
Recently Added Ecards
For the moment, we thought we would share a few words about some of the latest 24 ecards we have just added to Quillcards.
For animal lovers we have added some rabbits, guinea pigs, and horses. The rabbit in the photograph above was very calm when having its photograph taken and it was a pleasure seeing the shape of its ears making interesting angles in the camera viewfinder.
The guinea pig in the photograph below turned around constantly, but eventually he found the camera interesting so we could get some good shots. Guinea pigs have pudgy bodies, so concentrating on their beautiful faces brings out the best of them. He’s a ‘Dutch’ breed, which means he is white with bands of another color, as you can see here.
Incidentally, both photographs were shot with a Nikon D700 and 60mm AF-S macro lens.

People have been asking for photographs of long-haired guinea pigs at Quillcards. We have a day planned to photograph these in January, so be sure to check out this blog then.

For Quillcards Members
For Quillcards members, we have added a new way for you to insert the email details of the person to whom you are sending an ecard.
This is in addition to the autocomplete feature that we have always had.
Now we have added a drop-down box with a list of all your contacts from your My Quillcards section. The contacts in the drop-down list are listed alphabetically by last name, so it is easy to find the one you want.
We’re changing the look of ecard communications.
