I think. They hide under things, and change their shells quite often. So, I'm never quite sure how many I have. I have no idea what they're laughing about. Maybe hermit crabs have a subtle sense of humor over being put in an aquarium, with a small pond, surrounded by dogs and birds! :) I have five, good-humored hermit crabs. I think. Interesting thing about them: They laugh. Loudly. In the middle of the night.
