I agree it is indeed beautiful, as befits the cathedral of a diocese that once stretched south as far as the Thames, and included not only Lincolnshire, but also Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

All the new pics are gorgeous. My personal favorites are always ones that depict nature and are free of any man made structures in them, but I'm sure that varies from individual to individual. Now I'm off to read your William Blake article.

Marty - the British Museum had a makeover some years ago, and the courtyard was roofed over with this glass roof, designed by Norman Foster. It is a very memorable roof and sticks in the mind.

Nick - yes, from the Tate. When the sun shone, the cameras came out and all the photographers rushed to the balcony.

Teresa - that's a lovely word to use 'perfection' - thank you. :-)

Kate - Glad you like the glade.

Fine work, as usual. The one of the British Museum's roof is intriguing.
